CommentsQ74There is an ATV track that starts at the utility corridor and heads north and then west, roughly paralleling the utility corridor. This track showed moderate usage based on recent tracks from a week or so prior. The ATV track starts to the east of the property and extends northwest. I did not have time to follow it completely. Because the ATV track goes through a wet area, this site is best visited during the freeze or dry periods. Likely very wet in the spring and summer.
Last WordsQ82A family (a mother and father, two daughters and a young son) emerged from the NA as I was entering it carrying rifles. They were the source of the shots I had heard in the area. I followed their footsteps expecting to find a range of some sort but there was not any. I suspect they were randomly shooting into the woods along the trail. Beyond a grave safety issue, a poor role model for their 3 kids, all under the age of about 12.
