Fall Greetings
SWISSHhhhhh… the sound of summer passing by – welcome to September! I am also closing in on the end of the first of two years of my term as president. The board has been working on the concept of SAPAA 2.0 which will be described in the next newsletter and discussed at the November 29 AGM (1000-1100h, virtual). But first, Taking Nature for Granted.

November 29 – Annual General Meeting
Per our bylaws, section 3. Meetings. Notice is given of our AGM to be held on November 29, 2025, from 1000-1100h virtually. 10% of membership represents quorum so we ask you to pre-register at 2025 AGM Registration.
Student and/or Volunteer Projects 2025/26
Finally, SAPAA is once again engaging students this fall. Two teams are confirmed but another two may be added. Is working with some twenty-somethings of interest to you? Alternatively, do you have skills in communications, technology, research, or planning that you want to share?
If so (or just curious), take a look at the student projects available which can also be taken on by a SAPAA Member. Very limited training and mentorship can be provided.
