Island Lake Natural Area (PNT)

This very small Natural Area is located on an island in the middle of its namesake lake, which is just east of the Alberta/British Columbia border on Highway 3.

Other Information

The downside of some descriptive names, such as “Island Lake” is that there are other lakes with islands. At least one other such named lake (Island Lake Campground – Athabasca County) exists. Isle Lake Natural Area is a derivation of this name.
