West Stony Creek (PNT) Natural Area


Surrounding the western half of Burnstick Lake, this PNT is about 15 km southwest of Caroline.

Other Information

Burntstick, the Intended Name for the lake, was changed to Burnstick after it was misspelled in the 1950s [1]. In 1996, the provincial government issued a management plan for the area including the PNT [2]. The NA is irregularly shaped and includes the lake inlet for West Stony Creek. On the opposite side the outflow of the lake is called East Stony Creek.
