Who to Contact

This form is collect information about protected areas. If you are witnessing illegal activities, an emergency, poaching, etc. please use these contacts:

• An Emergency: Call 911 or contact the local RCMP or police detachment.
• Significant damage or disturbances: To report illegal activity and public safety issues on public land or in Provincial Parks, call 310-LAND.
• Poaching: Report suspicious or illegal hunting and fishing activity, or dangerous wildlife encounters online or by phone, 1-800-642-3800.

Notes, Tricks and Tips for Using the Full Form

• A GMail Account is required to save changes.
• The form submission can be modified until you hit submit.
• If you have post-submissions changes, email the webmaster@sapaastewards.com. On smart phones, when going to a new page, SCROLL UP to get to the top of the page.
• Up to 10 files, with a maximum size of 10MB each can be uploaded.
• Email additional files to webmaster@ or uploaded to the photo drive.
• Please name files as follows:
  • File Name: [WHERE]-[WHEN]-[WHO]-[IDENTIFIER]
  • e.g. “BilbyNA_2098-12-31_JSmith_Pineforest“

Inspection Form Change Log

Although the Site Inspection forms are set for 2025, some tweaks are always needed. Generally questions are not added or removed but even that is sometimes necessary.

• 2025-07-02: Changed Q55 to allow for multiple selections (check box instead of multiple choice).
• 2025-05-24: Summary of Changes:
  • Gathering and Dumping Activities (Q65)
    • Garbage dumping/Vandalism (Vandalism added)
  • Resource extraction (Q62)
    • Addition of ‘peat’ to this option Mining (e.g. sand, gravel, peat, or soil)
  • Why Did you Go? (Q42)
    • Removed option Plant identification, redundant to Botanical pursuits.
  • Trip Duration (Q41)
    • Required a numeric value > 0 to be entered.
    • Trip Duration Notes (Q41.1) added to capture travel time comments, etc.
  • What is the Naturalness of the Site? (Q31):
    • Removed a stray “,” at the end of 4=Great
    • Impact to Inspectors: none
