Wanisan Lake (PNT) Natural Area

This small (PNT) Natural Area adjoins the southwest corner of Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area, thereby extending the protected area to Wanisan Lake.

    Wanisan Lake is a tiny, 7.08 ha. (17.50 ac.), NA that could easily be nailed onto its larger neighbour, Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Provincial Recreational Area. A hiking trail in the PRA share its name.
