Dear SAPAA Friends,
It is with heavy heart that I relay the news of Judith’s passing on Friday, October 28.
She has been such an important voice in the preservation endeavours of our native plant landscapes and, in particular, in recent years, she has been so instrumental in the revival of our SAPAA newsletter.
I remember fondly our frequent excursions to the sandy and badlands natural areas northeast of Edmonton: Northwest of Bruderheim, Halfmoon Lake, Gibbons Prairie.
In the future, I will encounter her spirits there. May she rest in peace and may memories of her last.
