SAPAA has launched its Site Inspection Report (SIR) system to document the state of Alberta’s Protected Areas. Called SIR-SAPAA, a Google Form is an alternative. Visitors to the areas are encouraged to submit reports. On May 20, 7pm, an orientation will be held.

Do you visit Alberta’s Protected Areas? Perhaps you are a member of SAPAA and are interested in a particular site. Alternatively, you may just enjoy the adventure of visiting multiple sites as part of your exploration of Alberta or in pursuit of a hobby.
Hanging Out with SIR-SAPAA
No matter why you visit a site, considering sending in a Site Inspection Report or SIR. If you are a SAPAA Member, you can access the SIR-SAPAA application. If not a member, SAPAA may also make you an invited guest. No matter how you access the application, you can see past reports or submit your own.
SIR-SAPAA Alternatives
Not a SAPAA Member or don’t have access, you can still contribute. A Google Form allows you to submit a report and provide images manually. Not as elegant as SIR-SAPAA, but it works!
